Each year, thousands of people across the western Upper Peninsula take part in our Bowl for Kids Campaign to support mentoring programs for youth in our local communities. Whether you decide to be a Sponsor, Team Captain, Bowler, Event Volunteer or Individual Donor… You can make a difference!
When you support our Bowl for Kids Sake Campaign… You are standing up for kids in our community and investing in a brighter future for us all! Your support is critically important to the life-changing work we do! We are bigger together… Together, we are DEFENDERS OF POTENTIAL.
WHAT IS BOWL FOR KIDS' SAKE?
Bowl for Kids is definitely not “about” bowling. It’s about having FUN for a good cause…the children and youth in your community! It is the main fundraising event that our program sponsors each year. The purpose of Bowl for Kids is to invite the community to be a part of our mission by raising funds for local programs. All of the money raised stays right here in the western Upper Peninsula!
Anyone and everyone can get involved as a bowler, a team captain or as a sponsor – or all three! It’s not your skill or bowling score that counts – if you can “spare” a little time for a lot of FUN… YOU can be a part of Bowl for Kids!

How it Works
- Recruit your family, friends, co-workers to stand up for kids' sake. Form a team (or two!) of 4 to 8 people. Individual bowlers are also welcome!
- After registering, you will receive a Confirmation Email with event details and next steps, to include how to set up your Online Fundraising Page.
- Each Team Captain will receive a packet in the mail to include donation envelopes for each Bowler to collect as many pledges as possible at a flat rate ($5, $10, $20, etc.).
- Collect Donations for your Team and share your Online Fundraising Page with your network via email and social media! In addition, your Team can sponsor a Mini-Fundraiser prior to the event to raise more funds.
- Bring your donations to the bowling alley on the day of the event… All online donations will be added to your Bowler/Team Totals.
- With $45 minimum in donations per bowler, you are eligible for two hours of bowling, free pizza, great prizes and a lot of FUN!
