When a family adopts a child through foster care, UP Kids is with them every step of the way.
We work with you through the preparation phase (orientation, training, homestudy, license), and then work with you finding a child who will be a good match with your family. There are minimal to no costs adopting through foster care, and some of the costs incurred are reimbursable.
Sometimes, it can be a difficult adjustment when a child becomes a part of a new family. UP Kids workers are there to provide support and expertise through-out the adoption process.
