Support for shelter for Baraga County residents. 

The Barbara Kettle Gundlach Shelter Home provides temporary shelter for victims and their children from abusive relationships. It also provides individual counseling and support groups for victims who need help escaping their abusive relationships.

BHK Child Development services are available for support in child care, children with special needs, for food and nutrition, health needs and medical, as well as for parent and family support.

NorthCare Access Services will help you identify your needs and begin providing assistance when you call for services.

Copper County Mental Health is available following an initial assessment and upon completion of the screening by the NorthCare. Beginning with a face-to-face assessment with a mental health professional at a CCMHS office within fourteen (14) days.

The Gogebic-Ontonagon Great Start coordinates systems of community resources and supports for families in Gogebic/           Ontonagon Counties. 

Located at 703 N 2nd Ave, Iron River, MI 49935, the Northpoint Behavioral Healthcare system, provides mental health, counseling, and support groups regardless of ability to pay.

With offices in Calumet, Hancock, Ontonagon, and Bessemer, Phoenix House provides residential substance abuse assessments, outpatient substance abuse assessments and counseling.
